CHALLENGE
Arbon Equipment’s Sales Representative – Jon Roe had a customer with an old interior loading dock. The dock height was very low and the inside operations had grown to a point where the customer could not afford to give up the floor space to cut a pit into the building.
SOLUTION
The solution was a custom platform by Leum Engineering that allowed the customer to move their dock face into the existing driveway and not infringe on their aisle space. The platform was designed to fully fill the 14′ wide pit and handle the loads of the forklift giving them more space inside the building. Raised bumper brackets, integral Dok-Lok supports and a relocated Dok-Guardian completed this new loading dock without any need for concrete work, footings or changes to their existing operation.
