Loading Dock Pit Fillers are custom wheel risers that are built to eliminate trailer height changes caused by sloped driveways. When loading docks are dug out next to a building, they need a drain which is typically located several feet from the building. This causes the trailer bed height to come in lower than on a level dock approach.

To solve this problem, we build a platform that creates a surface for the trailer tires and brings the trailer bed at or above dock, regardless of the trailer axles position.

Match trailer bed heights to loading dock floor for smooth operation regardless of trailer axle positions. Robust Steel Construction Designed per AASHTO HS 20-44 maximum axle loads for 60,000 lb capacity per set.

The photo below shows the type of scenario that would benefit from the Dockzilla Pit Filler Solutions. The length of the custom static riser is determined by the dock configuration. With the custom static trailer risers, we build it to match the slope of the trailer bed.

Unloading trailers at or above dock eliminates interference from bumpers and building floor. Optional Wheel Guides Center trailer at dock with high strength pipe guides, available upon request.
